Q. What's a moneygift?
A. It's money that you give to someone.
Q: How do I create a site?
A: Click on the CREATE A SITE tab at the top of the page or the GET button on the home page. Either will take you to the registration process.
Q: What can I put on my MoneyGifts page?
A: A MoneyGifts page allows you to create headlines and text that let your donor know a little about you and why you'd like to receive money as a gift. Your site also allows you to upload up to THREE pictures that help give more information about you. You can also create a direct link to your PayPal account.
Q: How do I edit my MoneyGifts page?
A: Click on the MY MONEYGIFTS tab at the top of the page or the EDIT button on the home page. Please enter the e-mail address and password you used to create your site. Once logged in, your can edit your site, change the pictures or hide your site.
Q: How do I receive money?
A: After your site is created and a PayPal button is generated you can start receiving gifts directly into your PalPal account. A giver will simply click on the PayPal button and be taken directly to PayPal where your account information will already be filled out. They can then choose the amount to give.
Q: How will I know if I have received a MoneyGift?
A: Paypal will send you an email notification and you will have more money in your Paypal account. Check your PayPal account to see the MoneyGifts you have received.
Q: How do I change my password?
A: Click on the Change Password link on the Log In page. A temporary password will be sent to the e-mail address you used when registering. You can then use that e-mail address and temporary password to Log In and create a new password.
Q: Does MoneyGifts.com take a percentage of the gifts of money I receive?
A: No. Paypal, however, charges a small percentage of what anyone receives in a Paypal account. Please consult PayPal for their fee schedule.
